How to Whitelist Email from Black Lotus Audio

Many email service providers are now using software to block unwanted spam emails. Sometimes these programs inadvertently block email that you want to receive, such as your download links. To ensure that you continue to receive emails from Black Lotus Audio in your inbox, add our email address (team@blacklotusaudio.com) to your email white list to ensure the best chance of receiving our content and updates.

How do I white list emails from Black Lotus Audio?

Every email provider has a different process for adding an email address or domain name to your white list. Below are instructions for the most popular email providers. If your email provider isn’t listed, please contact your provider for specific instructions.

Gmail

In your Gmail inbox:

1. Locate an email from team@blacklotusaudio.com (ex. our welcome email) and drag this email to the “primary” tab of your inbox.
2. A popup will ask you “The conversation has been moved to ‘Primary’. Do this for future messages from team@blacklotusaudio.com?”. Click “Yes”. You will see that our emails will go to your primary folder in the future.

Hotmail/Outlook.com

In your inbox:

1. Select Settings from the top right (the gear icon). In the list that drops down, click “View Full Settings.”
2. Select “Junk email” from the list on the left.
3. Scroll down to “Safe Senders” and enter the domain name “blacklotusaudio.com”. Click the “Add” button to add our domain to your safe senders list.
4. Click the “Save” icon at the top of the page. That’s it!

Yahoo! Mail

In your Yahoo contacts list:

1. Locate an email from team@blacklotusaudio.com (ex. an order confirmation email). Open it and select the “More Options” icon.
2. Click “Add Sender To Contacts”.
3. Enter “team@blacklotusaudio.com” as the email address.
4. Click the “Save” button at the bottom of the page.

AOL Webmail

In your AOL inbox:

1. Click the “Contacts” link on the left side of the screen.
2. Click the “New Contact” link on the top left.
3. Enter “Black Lotus Audio” as the first name and last name of the contact. Enter “team@blacklotusaudio.com” as the contact’s email address.
4. Click “Add Contact.”

Other Email Service Providers

- Add the following email address to your Address Book or Contacts: team@blacklotusaudio.com
- For instructions that are specific to your email provider or ISP, please contact your email provider or ISP directly.

Why is whitelisting important?

Unsolicited and undesired advertising email, known commonly as spam, has become a major problem. It has become such a problem that all major email providers (Gmail, Hotmail, Yahoo Mail, AOL Mail, etc.) are now using filtering software to block spam emails.

Black Lotus Audio fully supports these efforts, but filtering software is far from perfect. These tools often block e-mail that you have requested, but that fits somebody else’s idea of what spam looks like. Every now and then, filtering programs and black lists will inadvertently flag messages from large email senders, such as Black Lotus Audio, as spam.

These false positives can prevent you from receiving your download links and other free content we send out. However, you can tell your email provider that you always want to receive emails from Black Lotus Audio by adding our email address (team@blacklotusaudio.com) to your contacts or white list. A white list is simply a pre-approved list of email addresses or domain names that you want to receive email from.
